The extremely talented NTUC's sub-unit

There is a teeny-weeny sub-unit within the NTUC's Admin and Research Unit called Youth Development Unit.  This sub-unit is tasked to look after the interests of more than 150,000 NTUC members who are below 35 years of age.  Although details of how many staffs are employed within this sub-unit appears sketchy, sources say that there are only about 10 staffs employed in that sub-unit.  


What's remarkable is that this tiny sub-unit of about 10 staffs has produced 3 new candidates for the People's Action Party (PAP) for the 2011 General Election; Steve Tan, Desmond Choo and Alex Yam. Steve is the Executive Secretary, Alex Yam is the Head of Strategies and Desmond Choo is the Deputy Director.  The Director of this tiny sub-unit is none other than Josephine Teo, who is the Member of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC. 


It's truly amazing how talented the staffs in this tiny sub-unit must be for about half of the staffs to be nominated to stand as candidates in the coming General Election. And you know, this sub-unit is currently searching for a Principal Executive (see HERE).
