Goh Meng Seng the koyok seller

In this series that I am writing about a few good men, who I think will do good for Singapore if they are fielded as a candidates in this coming general election, get elected and come to represent the people of Singapore in parliament; the next person I want to write about is Goh Meng Seng.

Goh Meng Seng is one of the few people that I feel utterly comfortable sitting down with a cuppa coffee, cracking a few jokes while talking about the more serious stuff.  He takes criticisms very well and does not try to justify things just to 'save face'.  I like that in a person.

Although first impressions may suggest that he is 'Ah Beng' or the Chinese neighbour next door, he is actually quite quick-witted and I am sure he will give the People's Action Party a good debate in parliament if he is elected in the next General Election. Just watch this video:

Meng Seng throws a curveball at Michael Palmer, which Michael couldn't handle and eventually Talking Point's host Debra Soon had to come to the rescue of PAP, to defend an indefensible system.

Whenever I meet Meng Seng, he is always trying to sell me his 'koyok' and recruit me into his Party. Although I have managed not to fall for his sales pitch so far, I must say that he is a very good 'koyok' seller.

I only wish all the best for this wonderful human being and a person I am proud to call my friend - Goh Meng Seng.
